Lace in Bloom is a delicate, hand-drawn fineliner piece created during my college years, inspired by the flowers growing in my garden at the time. Each line was drawn while sitting outdoors, capturing both the natural beauty of the blooms and the intricate flow of pattern work that weaves through them.
The detailed linework creates an almost lace-like effect, combining floral forms with ornamental intricacy. The paper has aged gracefully over time and is now fragile, so it’s been placed in a simple frame for protection—which will be included free with the drawing (though you’re welcome to reframe it to suit your space).
This is a very special, one-of-a-kind artwork that has inspired many of my later print designs and paintings. A quiet, timeless piece from the roots of my creative journey.
